Quarry Hill Nature Center, Rochester, Minnesota
- The 320-acre park features paved and hiking trails, a
pond, and a historical man-made sandstone cave. In the winter months, cross country skis and snowshoes are
available for rent to use in the park.
Year-round classes, day camps, trips, and
activities are offered by Nature Center staff.
Quarry Hill Nature Center is located in
northeast Rochester on Silver Creek Road off East Circle Drive. The Nature Center is also accessible by paved
biking trails in the Rochester Trail System.
Quarry Hill Offers:
2 acre fishing pond, Excellent fossil beds
in prehistoric limestone quarry, Historic sandstone caves, pavilion next to Quarry Hill Nature Center, paved
bike path linking the Nature Center to downtown and the City Bike trail system, A 20 acre restored Oak Savanna,
